Bingo! Cookie & Tracking Notice

Last updated October 5, 2026

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies that Bingo! LLC ("Bingo," "we," "us") uses on bingopetcare.app and in the Bingo app. It also explains how you can control them. It adds detail to Section 7 of our Privacy Policy. If this notice and the Privacy Policy disagree, the Privacy Policy controls.

Privacy Policy, Section 7

1. The short version

  • Only what's strictly necessary runs until you choose. This covers things like signing in, security, and remembering your choices.
  • Analytics is off until you turn it on. That means Google Analytics, Bingo's own page-view counts, and our app platform's built-in usage statistics.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, pixels or tags today. If we add them, they will stay off until you accept them.
  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) for everyone in the US. If your browser sends GPC, analytics and advertising stay off, and no banner can override that.
  • We do not use session recording or replay. No tool records your screen, mouse movements or typing.

2. What these technologies are

  • Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser.
  • Local storage and session storage are similar places in your browser where a site can save small pieces of information. Local storage stays until it is cleared. Session storage is erased when you close the tab.
  • Tags (or "pixels") are small pieces of code from another company, such as Google, that collect information when a page loads.

In this notice, "cookies" means all of these.

3. The three categories

Our consent banner sorts everything into three groups.

CategoryDefaultCan you turn it off?
Strictly necessaryAlways onNo. Bingo can't work without them.
AnalyticsOffYes. It stays off unless you turn it on.
AdvertisingOff (and not used today)Yes. It stays off unless you turn it on.

4. Strictly necessary

These make Bingo work. They do not track you across other websites, and we do not use them for advertising. Most are stored only in your browser.

Sign in with Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own strictly necessary cookies on its own sign-in pages. Google's privacy policy covers those cookies.

Payments. When you enter card details, you enter them on our payment processor's pages: PayCosmos and its gateway, or Wix Payments for training purchases. Those pages may set their own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention.

Maps. When a map is shown, your browser loads map images from OpenStreetMap or CARTO, and those services can see your IP address. Bingo does not set analytics or advertising cookies through maps.

5. Analytics (off until you turn it on)

These help us understand how Bingo is used, so we can fix what's confusing. Nothing in this section loads or records anything until you accept analytics.

ToolWhat it collectsName and typeHow long it lasts
Google Analytics (Google LLC)Pages visited, how you got to Bingo, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address. We ask Google to shorten IP addresses before using them.Cookies _ga and _ga_S3H1M37FL0Google Analytics keeps the data for 2 months. The cookies are deleted when you turn analytics off.
Bingo page-view countsFor signed-in users only: the page address with record numbers removed (for example "/AppointmentDetails/:id"), your account type (such as Client or Bingo Sitter), and the day. No name, email, account ID, IP address, or search terms. We look at these only as totals.Stored on Bingo's servers. Nothing extra is saved in your browser.14 months
Base44 built-in analytics (the platform Bingo runs on)When the app is opened, how long a visit lasts, and which pages are open. This is linked to your account and to a random session ID.A random session ID saved in your browser by the Base44 platformKept by Base44 under its own retention settings

In signed-in areas, these tools are set up so they do not capture what you type into forms or other sensitive information.

6. Advertising (not used today)

We do not currently use any advertising cookies, pixels or tags, such as Google Ads or Meta. If we add them later:

  • They will stay off until you accept advertising in the banner, and they will never run while GPC is on.
  • They will run only on our public marketing site and on one neutral confirmation page. They will never run inside the signed-in app.
  • They will report only two events: "account created" and "first booking completed." These events won't include Pet health information, prices, addresses or Client details.
  • We will update this notice before they go live.

7. Your choices and how to change them

The consent banner. On your first visit, the banner gives you three buttons that are equally easy to use:

  • Reject non-essential: only strictly necessary technologies run.
  • Accept all: turns on analytics, and advertising if we ever use it.
  • Manage: lets you turn analytics and advertising on or off one at a time, then Save choices.

Changing your mind. You can change your choice at any time with the "Your Privacy Choices" button in the site footer, in the app menu, in Settings, or on our Privacy Policy page. It reopens the banner with your current settings.

  • When you turn analytics off, Bingo stops counting page views from that browser right away and deletes existing Google Analytics cookies from it. Google is told your choice immediately, and Base44's built-in analytics stops the next time the app loads.
  • When you turn analytics on, Google Analytics and Bingo's page-view counts start right away. Base44's built-in analytics starts the next time the app loads.

How long your choice lasts. We keep your choice for 12 months, then ask again. Your choice is saved in the browser you are using. On another browser or device, make your choice there too. You can also email privacy@bingopetcare.app to record an opt-out for your account.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Analytics and advertising stay off in that browser, and the banner shows "Opt-Out Request Honored." Bingo's servers also check for the signal and do not record page views from a browser that sends it. This applies everywhere in the US.

Google Consent Mode. Google's tools run in Google Consent Mode. Google is told every choice is "denied" before any Google tag can load, and the setting changes only if you accept.

Do Not Track. Browsers' older "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so we do not respond to it. We do honor GPC.

Your browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, you may not be able to sign in, and Bingo will ask for your cookie choice again on each visit.

8. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when we add, remove or change a technology. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. We will tell you about material changes as described in the Privacy Policy.
