Bingo! Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 5, 2026
1. Our commitment
Bingo! LLC ("Bingo") wants everyone to be able to use Bingo to arrange, give and manage pet care. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers or other assistive technology, and people with low vision, color blindness, limited movement, or hearing, cognitive or learning disabilities.
This statement covers our website at bingopetcare.app, the Bingo web app, and the Bingo! mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play. The same commitments, contact options and response times apply to all of them.
2. Our goal: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This is a goal. We do not claim that Bingo fully meets WCAG 2.1 AA today. Bingo is new and still changing, and some parts don't meet the standard yet (see section 4). We are improving it as we go.
3. What we've done so far
- Display options. In Settings, under your account, you can choose text size (Standard, Large or Larger), high contrast (darker text and borders), reduce motion (turns off sliding and fading animations) and a compact layout. These apply right away and are saved on your device.
- Your device's reduce-motion setting. If your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, Bingo turns off its animations too.
- Skip to main content. Keyboard users can press Tab once on any page to reach a "Skip to main content" button.
- Maps as text. The visit, walk and team maps give screen readers a short text list of the main points, such as clock-in and clock-out times, care markers and when each caregiver was last seen. The route map lists its stops in order beside the map.
- Bigger tap targets. Many buttons, menu items, list items, dropdowns and booking time slots are at least 44 by 44 pixels, so they're easier to tap.
- Labels for screen readers. Icon-only buttons, such as close, edit, delete, download and send, and many form fields and switches have text labels that screen readers can announce. Booking steps, date and time choices, and star ratings are labeled.
- Dialogs. Pop-up windows such as the privacy choices banner and the policy update notice are marked as dialogs for assistive technology.
- Keyboard use. Most controls are standard buttons and form fields that you can reach with the Tab key and use with Enter or Space.
- Dark mode and a layout that works on phone screens.
- The page language is set so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
- Plain language. We try to write our pages and policies in plain language.
4. Known limitations
These are the problems we know about and are working on:
- Maps. The maps themselves are visual. The text list covers the main points, but not every detail a map shows, such as the exact path walked.
- Labels. Some buttons, form fields and charts are still missing text labels or clear names.
- Keyboard and focus. Some custom controls, such as the pet selection wheel, the walk replay timeline and drag-and-drop screens, may be hard to use with a keyboard. On some screens the focus outline is faint or hard to see.
- Color contrast. Some light gray text and some colored badges may not have enough contrast unless you turn on High contrast.
- Documents. Uploaded files, such as PDFs, vaccine records, and agreements a Business uploads, may not be accessible. We don't control files that other users upload.
- AI features. Answers from the Booking Assistant and other AI tools, and automatic text read from documents, may not always be fully accessible.
- Third-party pages. Pages run by other companies, such as payment checkout, Sign in with Google and map images, follow those companies' own accessibility practices.
5. How to report a problem or ask for help
If something on Bingo is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us:
- Email: hello@bingopetcare.app (subject: "Accessibility")
- Mail: Bingo! LLC, 315 E Linden St, Moorestown, NJ 08057
Bingo does not run a general support phone line, but for accessibility requests we offer help by phone or video call, by appointment. Email or write to us to set up a time. If email doesn't work for you, tell us how you'd like us to contact you, and we'll do our best to arrange it.
It helps if you can tell us:
- the page or screen (a link or a screenshot if you can);
- what you were trying to do and what happened;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you use.
Response time. We aim to send a first reply within 2 business days and to give you a plan, or a way to get the task done another way, within 10 business days. If the problem stops you from booking or managing care, tell us, and we'll help you get it done another way in the meantime.
6. Ongoing work
We check accessibility when we build new features, and we will have an accessibility audit of Bingo against WCAG 2.1 AA before the January 4, 2027 launch, and at least once a year after that. We will update this statement as we fix the problems listed above.
